Auld Reekie Blues Events

Part of a weekend of blues dancing workshops, we are running the Sunday night party as a regular Auld Reekie Blues event which is open to the public.  Expect a awesome evening of blues dancing with 2 sets of great live music and some superb DJ sets.

Having played to appreciative dancers at one of our events in August 2016, we are pleased to bring back Whisky Road:

Usually an acoustic blues duo with Derek Smith (Main Street Blues) and Richard Price (Piranha Blues), for this event they may become a trio with a harmonica player joining them. They perform foot stomping acoustic blues, covering many blues classics and originals.

Although the main purpose of the event is blues dancing, we welcome anyone who appreciates good music – especially the dance-curious!
